AI Provider, Model & API Key
To run an AI agent, your account needs three things in place: an API key, an AI provider, and an AI model.
Good news — these are created automatically when you sign up. You don't need to set them up manually. Your account is ready to create an agent right away.
Important: Don't Delete Them
Even though they're created for you, these three are required for your AI agents to work. If you delete any of them, your AI agents will stop working.
- API key — securely connects your app and integrations to Ainisa's backend.
- AI provider — the company whose AI powers your agents (for example OpenAI or Anthropic).
- AI model — the specific model from that provider that your agent runs on.
If an agent suddenly stops responding, the first thing to check is whether the provider, model, or API key is still in place.
Where to Find Them
You can view (and, if needed, add more) provider and model settings here:

Adding More Providers or Models (Optional)
The default provider and model are enough to get started. You only need to touch these pages if you want to:
- Add another provider (for example, connect Anthropic in addition to the default) — you'll provide the API key you got from that provider.
- Add another model to choose from when configuring an agent.
This is optional. Most businesses run fine on the defaults created at sign-up.
Once your provider and model are in place (which they already are by default), you're ready to create your AI agent.
